Week 22 MIRACLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hooooola :) Como estan??

This week was a week full of miracles :)

First, we had a Zone Goal (for the 13 companionships serving in the Gila) to find 28 new investigators this week. The record for the mission had been 27 before so we figured, what the heck, let's do it!!! ... As a zone we found FORTY NEW INVESTIGATORS. 16 of those were found in one day :') Miracle.

Okay. So. Last Tuesday there was a good old storm brewing in the distance with some thunder and black black clouds. We headed into dinner right when it hit so we didn't get too wet, but during dinner you could see all the hail and it was just dumping buckets outside. The power kept flickering, the wind was going. I'm a total storm junkie so I was on cloud 9 :) During our dinner message the lights kept flickering... It was totally the Holy Ghost :P So. Anyways. Awesome storm. And then we had to leave... so we BOOKED it through the pouring rain to the truck. As we started to drive, the rain kept getting worse and worse. So we pulled out of this little side street onto the main road and we couldn't even see 20 feet in front of us. It was bad and honestly we were starting to get a little nervous. So we decided to pull over back onto this side street.

And I don't really know how it happened... But long story short, as we were pulling onto this side street, a telephone pole and all the accompanying wires fell a FOOT (not an exaggeration) away from our truck onto the road where were were 2 seconds before. Had we not turned onto the side street we would've gotten hit. Had we been 2 seconds slower, we would've gotten hit. It was insane. You can't really see it well in the picture.... but gosh. It was crazy. Miracle.

The even cooler part was directly after, as we turned around to look at the pole, I felt the Holy Ghost, this peace, this love, these chills, stronger than I ever have before.

I've never been one that has these big huge life or death miracles happen... But I'm grateful for "coincidences" from a loving God :)

My favorite scripture that I've probably shared 1203981023 times is Proverbs 16:9

"A man's heart deviseth the way, but the Lord directeth his steps."

As our hearts are set on good things, the Lord will guide our steps and protect us along the way.

Les quiero mucho!!!!! Que tenga una buena semana :)
